They were never going to stay the same exact band they were 15 years ago, 10 years… hell, 5 years ago! People are constantly evolving, changing, growing… When has an Incubus album ever sounded like the one before it? They have always switched it up. And this is coming from someone who is somewhat partial to 2001 and back era. The recent stuff is hardly my bag but there are some goodies peppered in there, imo.
